TERMS OF PURCHASE AND REFUND POLICY

Alan's Tradies, Alan's Tradie Websites and all subsidiaries or affiliated brands under the Anabasis Imports umbrella (hereinafter referred to as “Company”, the “Companies”, “Alan's Tradies”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) stand behind our products and your satisfaction is very important to us. All purchases made from us (including all related website properties, sales over the phone, live event, virtual event or on-site purchases) are covered by the following policies.

Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your visit to our website and any purchases made on our website.

No Guarantee of Results. We do not guarantee any results from the use of our products or services. We offer a Warranty and a Performance Guarantee backed by third party reports, but we cannot guarantee traffic, leads or the success of your business. Any claims like our 90 Day Money Back Guarantee are an exception and are governed by the terms of those specific guarantees.

Purchase and Sales Agreement. If you have purchased a website from us, please refer to your Purchase and Sales Agreement for the terms of your purchase.

WEBSITE PURCHASE

 

Once-Off Service. Upon purchasing a custom website from Alan's Tradies you are agreeing to paying a once-off cost for the website build as described in the product description and sales page. This cost is fully non-refundable. If you would like any further changes or works done on your website once completed, this will fall under our Aftercare Service or be considered as a seperate engagement.

 

Time Frame. You are booking Alan’s time, energy and resources for an allotted amount of time. The allotted time for the website build depends on the website package and made clear to the buyer during phone call demonstrations, on the product sales page, and on invoices. The allotted time begins once the client has purchased the website. If purchased on a payment plan, the timeframe is extended for the duration of the payment plan. If the website is not finalised by the end of this period due to a delay in communication on the client’s end, and/or they fail to provide the initial requirements of logo, photos and business brief, they will be held liable for additional charges of $150 to re-commence work and will be placed back into a queue.

Hosting. This is covered under our Aftercare Service program. For websites not covered by our Aftercare Service, you agree to pay the current fee for a 2 Year Premium Wix plan which includes website activation, hosting and SSL Certificate, in addition to the business tools within the Wix dashboard. If you require features outside the scope of the Premium Wix plan, you agree to pay additional for the appropriate Wix plan instead. 

DNS. You agree to give us access to the DNS settings for your custom domain and email hosting, so that we can add the Wix Name Servers and add your existing MX records to the Wix backend. Fees apply if the time frame is extended due to non-access.

 

Ownership. Unless you join our Aftercare Service, you are agreeing to take ownership of the website and the re-occurring Wix Hosting fees upon job completion and handover. This will be initiated through Wix and you must follow their prompts to sign up an account with them, accept ownership of the website and enter payment details for when the hosting renews. If you do not open the email from Wix and accept the transfer within 3 days, the transfer will expire. Failure to accept ownership of your website will incur an administration fee of $150 to repeat the process.

Guardianship. In the event you do not take ownership of your website, or we decide to keep ownership and provide you with "website manager" level access instead, or you join our Aftercare Service program, then you accept that you will not be given ownership of the website, although this does not forfeit ownership, but puts it under our guardianship for the duration of a term or until you request ownership.

Credit and License. You agree to keep the footer credit that says "Created by Alan's Tradie Websites" and the link to our homepage. You do not have permission to re-sell or redistribute the website.

TEMPLATE PURCHASE

There is no refund at all on any template purchases. Using a template will require you to have an existing Wix account. This can be a free or premium account. After purchase, you will need to email us the email address you created your Wix account with. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email from Wix. Accept the transfer in the email and the template will be added to your Wix account as a new site, ready to edit. If you do not open the email from Wix and accept the transfer within 3 days, the transfer will expire. Fees will apply to repeat the process. You do not have permission to re-sell or redistribute the template.

GRAPHIC DESIGN PURCHASE

From time to time we offer graphic design services including custom logo design, business cards, signage and so forth. There is no refund on graphic design and/or related digital products. All these products are subject to the terms as described on their individual product pages, sales pages or invoices. These terms relate to how many pages of concepts, how many rounds of revisions and the final files handover. As it may vary per product, please see for exact details. In addition to these terms, the graphic design services are bound by a time frame of 6 weeks, and if the work is not completed when the period elapses due to delays on the clients end, fees will apply to re-commence works and priority will be lost. You will have full commercial usage rights to the graphics but you do not have permission to re-sell or redistribute the graphics.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

In the event we are offering branded apparel and/or physical items like business cards, stationary, banners, magnets, stickers, and so forth, these items are fulfilled by 3rd party suppliers so we cannot refund or exchange the item if you ordered the wrong size, have buyer’s remorse, provide your address incorrectly, or have an unclaimed shipment returned to our 3rd party fulfillment center. Shipments that go unclaimed and are returned will be assessed a cost for reshipment. If any address is considered insufficient by the courier and is returned, you will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you. Any claims for misprinted/ damaged/ defective items/packages lost in transit must be submitted directly to our customer service department within 30 days. If you are not completely satisfied with any other purchases not from our 3rd party fulfilment centre, simply return the physical product in NEW condition, along with proof of purchase, within 30 days and you will receive a full refund (less graphic design fees if applicable, shipping and handling). Please be advised that shipping costs to and from the fulfilment centre or us are not reimbursed.

MARKETING SERVICES

Our marketing services (including but not limited to SEO, Paid Advertising, Social Media Management, Blog Content, Listings) are fully non-refundable and bound by these terms and the terms of the marketing contract signed by both parties prior to commencing those services.

Payment Plans

If a product or service is purchased utilising a weekly or monthly payment plan the customer is responsible for 100% of agreed-upon payments equaling the original purchase price of the product. If any payments are not received, the entire purchase is void and the payments made up to that point are forfeited to and will not be refunded. Access to any service, product or platform will be removed.

Publicity Release

You grant to Alan's Tradies, affiliates, designees, successors, assigns and licensees the permission to use your name, image, website, testimonial, and Wix dashboard in any and all media for purpose, including, without limitation, advertising and promotional purposes.

By purchasing any item, product, service or event from any Company website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Terms of Purchase as well as the Terms of UsePrivacy Policy and Legal Disclaimers. If you do not agree to these policies, please do not purchase anything, or enter into any transaction with us.  

Be sure to return to this Policy periodically to review the most current version of the Policy. We reserve the right at any time, at our sole discretion, to change or otherwise modify this Policy without prior notice; however, the date of any effective changes shall be reflected at the bottom of this page and upon request we will provide you with information regarding any changes made.
